Nikola Tesla - Biography.

Nikola Tesla was a scientist whose inventions include the discovery of the Tesla coil, alternating-current (AC) electricity and rotating magnetic fields.

Who was Nikola Tesla?
Nikola Tesla was an engineer and scientist best known for designing the alternating-current (AC) electrical system, the major electrical system used around the world today. He also created the "Tesla Coil", which is still used in radio technology.

Born in modern-day Croatia, Tesla immigrated to the United States in 1884 and worked briefly with Thomas Edison before the two parted ways. He sold several rights to his West Machinery, including the rights to George Westinghouse.

Early life
Tesla was born on July 10, 1856 in Smiljan, Croatia.

Tesla was one of five children, which included siblings Dane, Angelina, Milka, and Marika. Tesla's interest in the invention of electricity was inspired by his mother, Zuka Mendik, who invented small home appliances in her spare time when her son Tesla was growing up.

Tesla's father, Milutin Tesla, was a Serbian Orthodox priest and a writer, and he inspired his son to join the priesthood. But Nikola Tesla's interest in science never allowed this to happen.

Education
Tesla moved to Budapest during the 1870s after studying at the Polytechnic Institute of Karlsdat University in Germany (later renamed the Johann-Rudolf-Glauber Railskool Karlsrut) Graz and Prague in Austria, where he briefly worked on the Central Telephone Exchange. worked inThe idea of the induction motor first came to Tesla's mind in Budapest, but years after its invention, at the age of 28, Tesla decided to leave Europe to move to America.

Nikola Tesla vs Thomas Edison
Tesla arrived in New York, USA in 1884 with four cents in his pocket, his own poems and the calculation of the flying machine.Edison hired Tesla, and the two worked closely with each other while improving on Edison's inventions. But the two inventors differed in background and methods, and that is why their separation was inevitable.Several months later, the two parted ways because of their conflicting relationship, which historians attribute to their different personalities: Edison focused on financial success, while Tesla was away from business activities.

Frst sole enterprise
In May 1888, George Westinghouse, head of the Westinghouse Electric Company in Pittsburgh, purchased the patent rights to Tesla's polyphase system of alternating-current dynamos, transformers and motors. This transaction led to a power struggle between Edison's direct-current system and Tesla-Westinghouse's alternating-current method, which eventually ended.

Invention
Throughout his career, Tesla discovered, designed, and developed ideas for many important inventions—most of which were officially patented by other inventors—including the dynamo (electric generator similar to a battery) and the induction motor. Huh.
